This is standard of recording phone number with country code. Make sure that the number is in this format. Make sure that it is the entered under the "Domain information" section unless you have checked to use the same values as contact information. Phone numbers are required in the "Domain Owner Contact" and the "Domain Billing Contact" make sure you are not missing these fields.
